While doing some work on another project I happened upon this series and the one on the next chart and I thought I would share them with you for the next several months.
You are intimately familiar with the Unemployment Rate, which is the ratio of the number of persons unemployed to the civilian labor force. Meet the full-time employed ratio. You will meet the part-time employed ratio in a moment.
This chart interests me because we have not been north of 80% since 1973. I don’t know if that means anything, but I am planning to watch this more closely over the months ahead.
