The pace of hiring in health care continues to move ahead on a broad front with most of the categories of ambulatory care as well as hospitals showing gains in July.
Last year, the monthly average gain in employment in the first seven months in this sector was 24,242 persons. Over the first seven months of this year the average gain has been 24,950. Which serves a reminder that sometimes you have to do a little arithmetic as well as look at the size of the bars on the chart in order to draw a conclusion.
